Manu Ginóbili is the legendary San Antonio Spurs and world basketball player, and against Charlotte Hornets he played 1000 matches in the NBA.
Ginóbili’s match against Hornets ended with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists, and there was a dash that reminded of his best times. The popular Manu, who is 40 years old, still plays an important role in Greg Popovic’s team.
“It’s been a lot of matches, for many years, I am proud to have played so many matches,” Manu said, who in 1999 was selected as the 57th pick of the draft by San Antonio.
Ginóbili in San Antonio arrived in 2002 and has so far won four championship titles (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014), played twice in the All Star match, and in 2008 was elected the top six league player.
